Good stuff, and I will be posting all of these forays on the blog as well...Northern AZ (not to mention the entire four corners area) has gotten a healthy dose of rain, particularly through July, and if it keeps up, it should bode well for the streams the rest of this season. I look forward to more of your posts up in Montana!
IainIain Emmonshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02113543475780380349noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7439150239233085035.post-42217385967587940062010-08-13T07:19:31.181-06:002010-08-13T07:19:31.181-06:00Thanks Iain - good to hear from you. AZ has had a good monsoon this year, nice to hear.
WillWill Jordanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06679946752061021543noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7439150239233085035.post-41319078409429469972010-08-12T18:10:42.927-06:002010-08-12T18:10:42.927-06:00Hey Will,

In fact, I had some great success on Oak Creek throughout April, when that stream was experiencing post-runoff, and found more large Browns than I would have suspected (I know, I am way behind on my own blog with posts, but I promise, I am making it a priority in the next month or so to update the entries).
As you noted above, despite the increased productivity of spring, fall is still probably my favorite time of year as well to be prowling the streams with rod and reel in hand; there is something about the fall, with the foliage and a crispness to the air, the last hurrah before winter...
IainIain Emmonshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02113543475780380349noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7439150239233085035.post-58927140790867823222010-08-01T11:07:56.932-06:002010-08-01T11:07:56.932-06:00Thanks! Big fish just seem to come out of the wood work at this time on many streams. Although it's pretty tough to beat streamer fishing come fall...Will Jordanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06679946752061021543noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7439150239233085035.post-965581599737919652010-07-29T06:53:20.554-06:002010-07-29T06:53:20.554-06:00great read!great read!Bigerrfishhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02792787195626433425noreply@blogger.com
